Removal of levers of a screen wiper
Moisten a windshield with water, then switch on and off a screen wiper so that its lever reached a starting position.
Remove a wire of "weight" from the rechargeable battery.
Remove screen wiper brushes.
Thin edge of the screw-driver remove a casing in the screen wiper lever basis.
Moving the screen wiper lever here and there, weaken its landing to axes, then unscrew a nut and remove the screen wiper lever.
Removal of the engine of screenwash
Remove rubber consolidation from the cowl upholstery panel.
Remove the left plastic panel of the engine of a screen wiper.

Unscrew two screws 1 (fig. 16-77) and a bolt 2; having pulled forward, remove the cowl upholstery panel from two holders 6.
Disconnect a hose 5 from snuffled washers 4 and remove the cowl upholstery panel from the car.
Unscrew bolts 2 (see fig. 16-76) fastenings of the mechanism of screenwash.
Disconnect the electric socket from the screen wiper engine.
Remove the screen wiper mechanism from the car.
Installation of the engine of screenwash
At installation of the new engine of a screen wiper establish it in a starting position. For this purpose connect to the screen wiper engine the electric socket, and a wire of "weight" – to the rechargeable battery. Quickly switch on and off screen wipers. At the same time the engine of a screen wiper will be installed in a starting position. Remove a wire of "weight" from the rechargeable battery and disconnect the electric socket from the screen wiper electric motor.
Install the mechanism of screenwash into place and connect the electric socket to the screen wiper engine.
Fix the mechanism of screenwash by bolts, having tightened their moment 6 N · m.
Connect a hose to washer nozzles.
Install the panel of an upholstery of a cowl on holders and fix it by screws and a bolt.
Establish rubber consolidation.

Install the screen wiper lever in such situation that the brush of screenwash settled down on a tag of a windshield (fig. 16-78).
Fix screen wiper levers by nuts, having tightened their moment 16 N · m.
Establish decorative caps on nuts of fastening of levers of screen wipers.
Check the angle of installation of the lever of a screen wiper and if necessary adjust it.
Check of a tilt angle of the lever of a screen wiper
Prevention
An inspection of a tilt angle of the lever of a screen wiper needs to be carried out at bad purification of glass or noise during the work of brushes.
Switch on and off screen wipers, at the same time levers of a screen wiper will borrow in a starting position. Remove screen wiper brushes.

Insert the lever 2 (fig. 16-79) of a screen wiper into the HAZET 4851-1 or VW 3358 tool and fix by a bolt.
In need of adjustment, being careful, a wrench 1 turn the VW 3358 tool until the arrow on a scale is not established on the required value.
Remove the VW 3358 tool, establish and record screen wiper brushes.
