1.7. Seats
Front seats
The correct installation of seats is necessary for providing:
– access to governing bodies;
– comfortablenesses of a trip;
– maximum efficiency of action of seat belts and safety cushions.
Driver's seat
The seat of the driver is recommended to be established as follows:
– to adjust the provision of a seat in the longitudinal plane so that pedals could be squeezed out the legs which are completely slightly bent in knees;
– to adjust the provision of a seatback so that the back completely adjoined to a back, and the top point of a steering wheel could be got the hands which are slightly bent in elbows.
Prevention
On a floor before a seat of the driver it is impossible to have any objects, as in case of emergency brake application or even small blow they can appear under a pedal that will complicate driving or will lead to road accident.
Seat of the forward passenger
The seat of the forward passenger is recommended to be established as follows:
– the provision of a seatback is close to vertical;
– legs stand conveniently on a floor, at this seat as far as it is possible, shifted back.
Front seats (manual adjustment)
Prevention
For safety it is necessary to regulate seats only on the motionless car.
In fig. 1-15 possible adjustments of a seat are shown.
1 – adjustment of a seat in the longitudinal direction.
To extend the handle up and to shift a seat. Then to release the handle and to advance a little more a seat before operation of a clamp.
2 – adjustment of a seat on height.
Having risen from a seat pillow, move the handle 2 up; accommodate on a seat more conveniently, establish the required height of a pillow of a seat and release the handle.
3 – adjustment of an inclination of a seatback.
By pressing the switch up the seatback deviates back.
By pressing the switch down the seatback deviates forward.
Prevention
The seatback during the movement cannot be inclined too strongly back as it significantly reduces efficiency of action of seat belts.
Front seats (with the adjustment electric drive)
The provision of seats with the electric drive is regulated by means of switches A and B (fig. 1-16). The switch C the subtime in lumbar area, and the switch D – height of installation of a head restraint provides adjustment.
Adjustment can be carried out also at the switched-off ignition.
The provision of a seat is regulated pressing of the switch A in the directions on shooters:
1 – forward / back;
2 – forward plane of a seat up / down;
3 – back plane of a seat up / down;
2, 3 at the same time – on height.
The provision of a seatback and height of installation of head restraints are regulated pressing (in the directions on shooters) the switch B:
– forward: back deviation back;
– back: back deviation forward;
– upward: raising of a head restraint;
– down: lowering of a head restraint.
By pressing the disk switch About a part of a seatback in a waist becomes more or less curved. Regulating a subtime, it is necessary to find the optimum provision of a support for a spine column that will allow to avoid fatigue at long trips.
Subtime it is regulated on height (above / below) and in size (curved / flat).
For adjustment of height of the top fastening of a seat belt of D it is necessary to press the top or lower key and, holding it before movement of a bracket of a belt up or down, to achieve such provision of a belt that its humeral branch passed through the middle of a shoulder (at all not through a throat).
For the best provision of a belt on front seats it is possible to adjust the provision of a seat on height.
Memory of provisions of a driver's seat
Gives the chance to remember four individual adjustments of provision of a seat, a steering column, external mirrors and head restraints.
When changing the driver when pressing a key of a seat the steering column, external mirrors and height of installation of a head restraint will automatically reach earlier adjusted positions.
The memory device works also at the switched-off ignition.
For record and a conclusion of data it is necessary to press the corresponding button "ON/OFF" in the provision of "ON".
Storing of adjustments
Adjust the provision of a seat.
Establish height of head restraints.
Adjust the provision of both external mirrors.
Establish the provision of a steering column.
Press memory of "Memory" a key and, holding a key, press one of four buttons of memory.
Release a key memory of "Memory".
These adjustments are brought in the memory device under the key chosen by you.
Notes
It is recommended to begin filling of memory with the left key and to specify to each other driver his key.
When entering new adjustments into the memory device from memory former adjustments on this key are erased.
At a detachment of the rechargeable battery from onboard network all adjustments of a seat and external mirrors brought in memory are erased.
Coordination of a key of remote radio control with memory keys
In order that the adjustments brought in memory could be caused also by means of remote control, it is necessary to coordinate a key of remote control with each key of memory.
It is recommended to coordinate one of two keys of remote control attached to the new car with the 1st key of memory, and other key – with the 2nd key.
Open the driver's door. Insert into the lock of an open door a key with an infrared radiation. Close all doors of the car except for the driver's door.
Press a key on which the key has to be programmed. At the pressed key give a key a short infrared signal – the car will open. Release a key.
Forward armrest
The armrest can hold several positions.
For installation of provision of an armrest press a key in an end face of an armrest And, cast away an armrest down and release a key. Then lift an armrest until it does not reach desirable position.
At an armrest inclination freedom of the movement of a hand therefore such its situation is not recommended at the movement in city conditions can be limited down.
Back seat
Switches A and B it is possible to regulate a subtime in lumbar area and height of installation of head restraints.
By pressing the disk switch A (fig. 1-22) a part of a seatback in a waist becomes more or less curved. Regulating a subtime, find the optimum provision of a support for a spine column that will allow to avoid fatigue at long trips.
The provision of height of installation of head restraints is regulated pressing (in the directions on shooters) the switch B:
– up: raising of a head restraint;
– down: lowering of a head restraint.
Most such provision of a head restraint at which its upper edge is at the level of eyes or above meets safety requirements.
Head restraints
To adjust the provision of a head restraint, clasp it with both hands from sides and shift up or down (fig. 1-23).
For removal of a head restraint pull it up to an emphasis and, having pressed the button (in the direction of an arrow), take out a head restraint.
For installation of a head restraint move head restraint rods into the directing openings before the click demonstrating inclusion of a clamp (fig. 1-24).
Cover for transportation of lengthy baggage
The cover for transportation of lengthy baggage, for example skis, protects it from pollution, and interior of the car – from damages.
Loading of a cover
The cover for lengthy baggage should be loaded from the luggage compartment.
Cast away an average armrest in a back part of salon forward.
You Will open a luggage carrier and exempt its middle from pieces of baggage.
Take out a cover, spread out it and unzip.
Take out a seat belt uvula from the holder of a cover.
Move through the luggage compartment into salon of a ski or other long objects.
After loading reliably record a cover.
