Keys are put to the car: two main And (fig. 1-1) and on one repair In and reserve give to S. Dopolnitelno a charm With with number of keys and the hidden confidential code for anticreeping system.
Preventions
When you even for a while leave the car, surely take out a key from the ignition lock. It is especially important when in the car there are children. They can launch the engine or turn on any electric device, for example a window regulator owing to what injuries and creation of an emergency are possible.
Take out a key from the ignition lock only after a full stop of the car in order to avoid inclusion on the run of steering blocking.
The main keys And approach all locks. Depending on a car complete set the main keys have illumination or the transmitter for infrared remote control.
For inclusion of illumination it is necessary to press the button in the center of a head of a key.
Replacement of the battery or lamp
Insert a coin into a cut on the top part of a head of a key and hook the top part of a head.
Replace the battery or a lamp. Spare batteries and lamps can be bought in the service enterprise Volkswagen.

Places of management of locking and unlocking of the car
Outside: forward doors, trunk lid.
Inside: the button of blocking of a door and a command key the central lock in the handle of a door of the driver.
If when moving the button of blocking of a door down other doors are not blocked, it is necessary to lift the button of blocking up and to press repeatedly it.
For unlocking of the car it is necessary to turn a key in the provision of unlocking in the lock of one of forward doors or in the lock of the luggage compartment.
All buttons of blocking of locks of doors rise.
In case of failure of system of the central lock all doors and a luggage carrier open and closed by a key.
Note
At failure of the central lock back doors cannot be unblocked outside.
For locking of the car it is necessary to turn once a key in the provision of locking in the lock of one of forward doors or the luggage compartment. All doors and the luggage compartment will be blocked.
The central lock can be put in action from the driver's door if it is closed before other doors.
If the door of the driver is open, it cannot be closed by means of the central lock.
After inclusion of ignition the central lock it is impossible to close doors from the forward passenger, it is only possible to open.
Prevention
In the car locked outside it is impossible to leave anybody, first of all juvenile children as from within a door it is impossible to open. It is especially important at operation of cars with the electric drive of window regulators because in this case it is impossible to open also windows.
On the cars equipped with window regulators with the electric drive or the lifting and movable panel of a roof with the electric drive, left opened windows of doors or the hatch of a roof it is possible to close centrally. For this purpose it is necessary to detain a key in the provision of locking of the lock until all windows of doors and the hatch of a roof are not completely closed.
Doors can also be locked cave-in of buttons of blocking of locks.
