2.29. Code and number of the engine

The code of the engine is specified on the plate of passport data in a spare wheel or on half of the luggage compartment.
The code and number of the engine are in addition duplicated on the plate located on a casing of a gear belt.

On petrol V6 engines number of the engine is beaten out on the right inside of the block of cylinders between a head of the block of cylinders and the hydraulic pump (fig. 2-33).

On petrol V8 engines number of the engine is beaten out on the left side of the block of cylinders over the hydraulic pump (fig. 2-34).
On petrol V8-5V engines number of the engine is beaten out on the left side of the block of cylinders (fig. 2-35).
