13.5. Connecting pipes of the cooling system

Small average pipe of the cooling system of the petrol engine of 2,8 l
Removal
Merge cooling liquid.
Remove an inlet collector.

Weaken a collar and remove a hose from the back party of an average pipe of the cooling system (fig. 7-10).
Unscrew a bolt of 1 fastening of an average pipe of the cooling system to the block of cylinders.
Take out an average pipe of the cooling system from an opening of the block of cylinders and remove it.

Installation
Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal, taking into account the following.
Before installation clear a nest for a sealing ring.
At installation it is necessary to use a new sealing ring, previously having greased it with G12 rust-preventing agent.
Move a pipe into an opening of the block of cylinders and fix it by a bolt.
Establish an inlet collector.
Fill in cooling liquid.

Right average pipe of the cooling system of the petrol engine of 2,8 l
Removal
Merge cooling liquid.
Remove an inlet collector.

Weaken collars and remove hoses from an average pipe of the cooling system (fig. 7-11).
Unscrew a bolt 3 fastenings of a pipe of the cooling system to the block of cylinders.
Weaken collars and remove the hoses going to the heat exchanger from an average pipe.
Weaken a collar and remove the hose going to a broad tank from an average pipe.

Disconnect the electric socket from the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid (fig. 7-12).
Release clips of an average pipe of the cooling system and move them aside.

Unscrew bolts (see fig. 7-13) fastenings of flanges of an average pipe, take out an average pipe of the cooling system from an opening of the block of cylinders and remove it.
