13.4. Water pump of petrol engines of 2,8 l

Removal

Prevention

For deduction of a pulley of the water pump from a provorachivaniye it is necessary to use the special tool 3212.

Merge cooling liquid.

Take off poliklinovy a belt.

Unscrew a bolt holding a pulley of the water pump from a provorachivaniye the special tool 3212 and remove a pulley

Weaken a tension of a gear belt and remove it from a camshaft pulley. For protection of a gear belt against cooling liquid close it polyethylene.

Unscrew bolts and remove the water pump (fig. 7-8).

Installation

Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal, taking into account the following.

At installation replace all laying and sealing rings with new.

Establish a gear belt.

Fill in cooling liquid.
