7.5. Fuel tank
Preventions
The fuel tank is removed from below the car. For support of the fuel tank use a jack.
Even in the empty fuel tank there are fuel vapors which are explosive therefore be careful.

Before a detachment of the rechargeable battery find out whether you have a code of turning on of the radio receiver.
Switch off ignition and disconnect a wire of ""weight"" from the rechargeable battery.
Merge fuel from the fuel tank.
Remove the fuel level sensor casings / the fuel pump located from the left and right side under a luggage carrier carpet.
Disconnect electric sockets from the fuel level sensor / the fuel pump and move them aside.
Remove back wheels.
Unscrew four bolts of fastening of the cross-piece located under mufflers.
Unscrew nuts of fastening of couplings of connection of pipes of system of release and disconnect back section of system of release.
Remove two thermoprotective panels from two parties of a back axis.
From below the car unscrew casings of the fuel tank from two parties of the car.
Disconnect clamps of a cable of the parking brake and move a cable aside.
Front-wheel cars
Using the special device for compression of springs, serially squeeze springs of a back suspension bracket and remove them.
Establish under a back frame a jack with a basic plate and support a frame by a jack.
If the fuel tank is removed for a long time, then after its removal fix the lower frame by bolts.
All-wheel drive cars
Remove a back axis.
All models
Weaken fastening of a double collar of fastening of the lower hose between the fuel tank and a tube of supply of fuel, at the same time the lower hose has to remain on the fuel tank.

Weaken collars of 1 (fig. 4.1-5) and disconnect the tube connecting the broad camera to a fuel supply tube, at the same time the connecting tube has to remain on a giving tube.
Mark other tubes of the fuel tank and disconnect them.
Disconnect a tube 2 returns of fuel.
Disconnect electric sockets from the left and right side of an arm of a cross beam for fastening of the fuel tank.
Unscrew nuts and remove a cross beam.

Establish under the right section of the fuel tank a jack with a basic plate and lift a jack so that the weight of the fuel tank was perceived by a jack.
With the assistant lower the fuel tank, at the same time be careful not to bend fuel tubes.
Unscrew a diagonal tape.
Installation
Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal.
Make sure that cables of the parking brake are located correctly and fixed by clamps.

Check that the fuel tubes going to the fuel tank through an opening in a body were located, as shown in the figure 4.1-8.
Connect a wire of "weight" to the rechargeable battery.
Launch the engine and check tightness of a power supply system.
Turn on the radio receiver and enter into it a code.
