7.2. Safety requirements and preventions
Gasoline extremely fire – is also explosive therefore it is necessary to show care during the work with any knots of a power supply system.
Works need to be carried out in well aired room, it is better with open windows and doors for draft creation.
It is impossible to use naked flame, electric welding and the tool during the work with which sparks can be formed. Check that in close proximity to a workplace there was a charged fire extinguisher.
For protection of eyes against hit of fuel in them use points. At hit of fuel on skin wash out this place a large amount of water.
Capacity in which there is a fuel contains its couples and is potentially explosive.
During the work with a power supply system observe purity as the dirt which got to canals of system can block them that will break normal operation of the engine.
Application of an electronic control system of the engine provides the following advantages:
– thanks to optimum supply of fuel in the engine on all operational modes fuel consumption at preservation of dynamic characteristics of the car decreases;
– fuller combustion of fuel and use of catalytic converter allow to reduce emission of harmful substances with the fulfilled gases;
– as the electronic control system of the engine defines and writes down in memory of malfunction, their search and detection considerably accelerates;
– the control system of the engine on all operational modes establishes an optimum angle of an advancing of ignition, the moment and amount of the fuel given to the engine. The control system of the engine interacts with other systems of the car, in particular with a control system of the automatic transmission or with anticreeping system.
Elements of a control system of the engine are very reliable and practically do not demand service. At maintenance it is necessary to replace the air filter and spark plugs only. For check, adjustment and repair of a control system of the engine it is necessary to use the difficult expensive equipment therefore these works need to be performed at specialized service station.
In use the car it is not required to regulate the frequency of rotation of idling and maintenance WITH in the fulfilled gases.
At service and repair of system of ignition of the car at the included ignition it is necessary to be careful as it is possible to receive blow by current from a high-voltage part of system of ignition. People with stimulators of warm activity are not recommended to check and repair a control system of the engine. Switch off ignition before a detachment or connection of any element of system of ignition or conclusions of the measuring device.
The fuel system constantly is under pressure even after switching off of the engine therefore when carrying out any works on fuel system it is necessary to take off pressure.
For prevention of a possibility of casual short circuit in an electric chain and damages of electronic elements of a control system of the engine always remove a wire of "weight" from the rechargeable battery.
Before performance of any works on a control system of the engine cause the malfunctions which are written down in it from memory. Also check tightness of power supply systems and air supply in the engine.
Normal work of a control system of the engine is possible only at a tension in onboard network of the car not lower than 11,5 Century.
If after work on a control system the engine is launched and through short time stops, perhaps, it is switched off by anticreeping system. In this case cause the malfunctions which are written down in it from memory and if necessary adjust a control system of the engine.
