6.8. Right cover of a head of the block of cylinders

Removal
Remove a forward cross-piece.

Having pulled for lateral faces up, remove an engine casing (see fig. 3.4-19).
Unscrew screws and remove the protection cover located behind the air filter.

Weaken collars and remove the air branch pipe connecting the air filter and an air pipe (see fig. 3.4-1).
Unscrew screws of fastening of the case of the air filter.

Unscrew screws and remove an air pipe (see fig. 3.4-2).

Unscrew a face connecting nut of 1 (fig. 3.4-48).
Unscrew bolts 2 and 3, but do not remove completely the injection block.

Disconnect electric sockets 1 and 3 (fig. 3.4-49), unscrew connecting nuts 5–8 fastenings of pipelines and bolts 2 and 4 fastenings of the control unit of injection of fuel (Rail-element).
Disconnect electric sockets from incandescence candles.
Remove the control unit of injection (Rail-element) from an inlet collector.

Disconnect electric sockets 2-7 (fig. 3.4-50).
Unscrew a clip of fastening of wires and take wires aside (see fig. 3.4-50).
Release from clips a returnable fuel-supply line 1 and remove it from fuel nozzles.

Weaken a collar 1 and remove a fuel hose from the T-shaped splitter (fig. 3.4-51).
Remove a spring bracket and disconnect a fuel-supply line from the giving fuel pump (see fig. 3.4-51).
Disconnect fuel-supply lines about the right cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
Unscrew a stopper of an oil-filling mouth.

For a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a bent shaft turn a shaft until in an opening of an oil-filling mouth dredging is not visible (see fig. 3.4-43).

Unscrew bolts of fastening of casings of nozzles, pull casings up and turn them on 90 ° counterclockwise (see fig. 3.4-44).

Unscrew the opened bolts of fastening of nozzles (see fig. 3.4-45).
Pull up and remove nozzles of cylinders 1 and 3. At removal of nozzles it is possible to use the lever.
Turn a bent shaft clockwise on 180 ° and remove nozzles of cylinders 2 and 4.

Unscrew bolts and remove the right cover of a head of the block of cylinders (see fig. 3.4-46).

Installation
Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal, taking into account the following.
Replace sealing rings of tubes of return of fuel.
If necessary replace laying of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
Establish a sealing half ring.
Degrease a surface under installation of laying of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.

Apply a thin continuous layer of sealant on a semicircular surface (see fig. 3.4-47) in an end face of a head of the block of cylinders.
Apply with sites of projections 5 mm a layer of sealant with a diameter of 3 mm on external covers of the camshaft (see fig. 3.4-47).
Tighten nuts of fastening of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders gradually cross-wise.
Establish a forward cross-piece.
Fill in cooling liquid in the cooling system.
