6.5. Gear belt

Removal
Turn a bent shaft in the direction of working rotation for a bolt of fastening of a pulley before installation of the piston of the fifth cylinder in compression step VMT.
Take off poliklinovy a belt.
Exempt wires from clips on a radiator fan casing, unscrew screws of fastening and remove the radiator fan with the electric drive.
Remove a quencher of fluctuations from a pulley of a bent shaft.
Remove forward casings of a gear belt.

Serially, using special adaptation 3036 (fig. 3.4-29), record a camshaft pulley from a provorachivaniye and unscrew a bolt of fastening of a pulley of the camshaft on three turns (but do not unscrew completely).

Face key on 8 mm turn a tension roller counterclockwise and record it in this situation T40011 adaptation (fig. 3.4-30).
Chalk, marker or paint note the direction of rotation of a gear belt. If at installation of the gear belt which was in the use it rotates in other party, it will lead to its destruction.

Weaken a bolt of fastening of a roller with the clown (fig. 3.4-31).

Using a stripper of T40001 (fig. 3.4-32), remove both pulleys of camshafts from their landing cones. At removal of pulleys the stripper has to rest against bolts of fastening of pulleys of camshafts. Pulleys of camshafts have to rotate freely, but not dangle on their adjusting cones.
Turn out a bolt of fastening of a pulley of the right camshaft and take off a gear belt together with a pulley.

At installation of a gear belt it is necessary to use new laying 20 (see fig. 3.4-28) and a bolt 31.

Check that position of camshafts was recorded by clamps 3458, and the bent shaft is recorded by the adjusting screw 3242.
Pulleys of camshafts have to be turned freely.
Establish a gear belt on pulleys in the following sequence:
– bent shaft;
– tension roller;
– a roller with the clown;
– left camshaft;
– fuel pump of high pressure;
– the directing roller;
– water pump;
– a pulley of the right camshaft then install a pulley on the camshaft.

Insert a six-sided key on 4 mm between the mechanism of a tension and the lever of a tension roller (fig. 3.4-33).

Using the special tool which enters two openings of a roller with the clown, turn a roller counterclockwise the moment of 3 N · m and in this situation tighten a bolt of fastening of a roller the moment of 45 N · m (fig. 3.4-34).
Take the six-sided key which is between the mechanism of a tension and the lever of a tension roller.
Face key on 8 mm turn a roller tension a gear belt counterclockwise and be convinced that in this situation it is possible to install T40011 adaptation (see fig. 3.4-30).

Face key on 8 mm turn a roller tension a gear belt clockwise, take the six-sided key which is between the mechanism of a tension and the lever of a tension roller, and be convinced that the plunger of the mechanism of a tension presses the lever of a tension roller (fig. 3.4-35).
Tighten bolts of fastening of pulleys of camshafts, holding pulleys from a provorachivaniye prisposobleny 3036.

Remove the adjusting screw 3242 and clamps 3458 and turn a bent shaft on two turns, establish it in the provision of VMT of the fifth cylinder of a step of compression and check installation cranked and camshafts. For verification of the provision of a bent shaft from the block of cylinders unscrew a cap and instead of it screw in the adjusting screw 3242. For verification of the provision of camshafts establish the clamps 3458 fixing provisions of camshafts (fig. 3.4-36). If the adjusting screw 3242 and clamps 3458 were installed, so cranked and camshafts are installed correctly.
Further installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal, taking into account the following.
On the left head of the block of cylinders install the vacuum pump.
Establish poliklinovy a belt.
Fill in cooling liquid in the cooling system.

At installation it is necessary to use new a sealing ring of 3 (fig. 3.4-37), laying 6, 14 and bolts 12.
