4.5. Head of the block of cylinders

At installation of a head of the block of cylinders with laying it is necessary to use new bolts of 7 (fig. 3.2-32) of fastening of a head.
When replacing a head of the block of cylinders in the cooling system it is necessary to fill in fresh cooling liquid.
All clips and collars which at removal of the engine will be damaged or cut need to be replaced with heads of the block of cylinders, new at installation.
Before a detachment of the rechargeable battery find out whether you have a code of turning on of the radio receiver.

Removal
You carry out removal of a head of the block of cylinders on the cold engine.
The rechargeable battery is located under half of the luggage compartment.
Switch off ignition and disconnect a wire of "weight" from the rechargeable battery.
Merge cooling liquid from the engine cooling system.
Remove the left reception exhaust pipe.

Remove the lower mudguard of a motor compartment (see fig. 3.2-2).
Unscrew the left and right reception exhaust pipes.

Unscrew the screw of fastening of the left ventilating grate of a bumper (at the same time also the right lattice is released) and remove lattices (see fig. 3.2-1).
Take off a gear belt.
Remove a vacuum hose from the control unit a cruise control.
Remove an accelerator cable.
Disconnect a cooling system hose from the crane for discharge of cooling liquid.

Disconnect electric sockets 3 and 8 from detonation sensors from the left and right side of the fuel highway (see fig. 3.2-5).
Release four clips of fastening of electric wires 2, 4, 7 and 9.
Disconnect electric sockets from fuel nozzles from the left and right side of the engine.
Turn off bolts 1, 5, 6 and 10 and, being careful, remove the fuel highway.

Turn off bolts and remove an inlet collector (fig. 3.2-33).
Turn off forward bolts of fastening of the left and right final collector.
Disconnect electric sockets from ignition coils.
Unscrew and remove the cooling system pipe located between heads in a back part of the engine.

Uncover a head of the block of cylinders (fig. 3.2-34).
On the left head of the block of cylinders turn off and take the directing pipe for the index (probe) of level of engine oil.

Gradually weaken, and then completely turn out bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders (fig. 3.2-35).
Remove a head of the block of cylinders and establish it on the soft basis.

Preparation of a head for installation
Privalochny surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders have to be absolutely pure. For their cleaning use a firm plastic or wooden scraper. When cleaning be careful as it is very easy to damage aluminum alloy. Make sure that the deposit did not get to oil and water canals. It is especially important for the lubrication system as the deposit can block supply of oil to engine details. If necessary clean channels.
Check privalochny surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders for existence of notches, deep scratches and other damages. Small defects can be eliminated with machining, at major defects of a detail replace.
Using a metal ruler and the probe, check planeness of privalochny surfaces.
If the deviation from planeness exceeds 0,1 mm, it is necessary to pereshlifovat a head. Height of a head of the block of cylinders and after machining has to make not less than 139,25 mm (fig. 3.2-36).

Clear openings under bolts in the block. At a bolt vvorachivaniye in the opening filled with oil the block can explode as a result of hydraulic pressure.

Installation
Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal, taking into account the following.
Replace bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders.
New laying of a head of the block of cylinders needs to be taken from packing just before installation.
Establish laying on the directing pins, at the same time the inscription "oben" or "top" has to be directed to a head.

Insert bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders and tighten them by hand, and then in the sequence shown in the figure 3.2-37 in three stages:
The 1st – the moment of 40 N · m;
The 2nd – the moment of 60 N · m;
– to tighten the 3rd on a corner 180 °.
Further additional pulling up of bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders is not required.
Before installation of an inlet collector connect a forward hose of ventilation of a case.
Before installation of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders into place grease from two parties laying of a cover with a thin layer of silicone lubricant D 007 000 04.
Apply with a thin edge of the screw-driver a layer of silicone lubricant D 007 000 04 on transitions of sides about forward and back covers of camshafts (fig. 3.2-38).
