4.6. Valvate mechanism
Turn a bent shaft for a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a bent shaft in the direction of working rotation before installation of one of camshaft cams ledges up and check a gap between a cam and a hydraulic pusher. The gap has to be within 0,10–0,20 mm.
Otherwise remove the camshaft and a pusher. Remove the compensator, measure its thickness and choose the compensator of necessary thickness.
Example
The measured gap – 0,30 mm
Nominal gap – 0,15 mm
Difference – 0,15 mm
It is necessary to install the compensator 0,15 mm thicker.
