17.3. Adjustment of position of the driveshaft
Adjustment of provision of an intermediate support of the driveshaft.
In the presence, unscrew four bolts and remove the cross beam located under pipes of system of release.
Unscrew nuts, the fixing connecting clips of exhaust pipes, disconnect and remove back section of system of release.
Unscrew bolts and remove the thermofilter located over the driveshaft.
Unscrew bolts and remove the tunnel (see fig. 11-2).
Establish and fix on cardan to a shaft adaptation 3139.
Unscrew bolts and remove washers of fastening of an intermediate support of the driveshaft.

Establish an intermediate support of the driveshaft so that the distance of D (fig. 11-4) from a support to a body and was identical from two parties. Measure this distance and depending on the size of distance choose thickness of adjusting laying:

Using adaptation 3139, move as far as possible the driveshaft to the main reverse gear.

In this situation note position of the center of an opening for bolts of fastening of an intermediate support of the driveshaft (an arrow A, fig. 11-5).
Using adaptation 3139, move as far as possible the driveshaft to the transmission.
In this position of the driveshaft repeatedly note position of the center of an opening for bolts of fastening of an intermediate support of the driveshaft (an arrow B, see fig. 11-5).
Move the driveshaft along an axis to such situation at which openings for bolts of fastening of an intermediate support of the driveshaft will be in the middle of earlier made marks (an arrow C, see fig. 11-5).
Establish adjusting laying of the chosen thickness and fix by bolts an intermediate support of the driveshaft.
Remove adaptation 3139 from the driveshaft.
Install the driveshaft tunnel.
Install the thermofilter over the driveshaft.
Check that the system of release was located freely and did not concern a body.
