5.4. Poliklinova belt

Poliklinova the belt carries out the drive of the generator, the pump of the amplifier of steering, the fan of a radiator, the compressor of the conditioner and the water pump depending on modification of the engine.

Removal
Switch off ignition and disconnect a wire of "weight" from the rechargeable battery.

Preventions
It is forbidden to open a contour of coolant of the air conditioning system.
Before removal by chalk, a marker or paint note the direction of rotation of a poliklinovy belt. If at installation of the poliklinovy belt which was in the use, poliklinovy the belt rotates in other party, it will lead to its destruction. Make sure that poliklinovy the belt is correctly located on pulleys.

For simplification of access to a tension roller of a gear belt it is necessary to remove a cap of 14 (fig. 3.3-22).
At installation it is necessary to use new laying 20.

Turn out screws and remove a casing of the engine (fig. 3.3-24).
Remove the right and left casing of a gear belt.

Remove forward air ducts (fig. 3.3-25).

Unscrew a bolt of fastening of the fan of a radiator with the viscous coupling, holding from a provorachivaniye a fan axis other wrench (fig. 3.3-26).
Unscrew the bolts located above before a radiator and remove a radiator fan casing.
Remove the fan with the viscous coupling together with a casing.

Turn out screws and remove a casing of a poliklinovy belt (fig. 3.3-27).
Separate a casing from a tension roller of a poliklinovy compressor belt of the conditioner.

Weaken a bolt of fastening of a tension roller of a poliklinovy compressor belt of the conditioner (fig. 3.3-28) and take off a belt.

Face key turn counterclockwise the mechanism of a tension of the main poliklinovy belt, thereby having weakened a belt tension, fix the tension mechanism in this situation a pin (fig. 3.3-29) and take off a belt.

Installation
Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal, taking into account the following.

Establish poliklinovy a belt at first on a pulley of a bent shaft, then on single pulleys and in the last turn on a pulley of a tension roller (fig. 3.3-30).
Face key turn counterclockwise the mechanism of a tension of a poliklinovy belt, take a pin and release a key therefore the belt will stretch (fig. 33-29).
Establish poliklinovy a conditioner compressor drive belt.

Dynamometer key with a six-sided head on 6 mm turn a tension roller of a poliklinovy compressor belt of the conditioner counterclockwise until 7 N · m and, holding a dynamometer key in this situation, the second key tighten a bolt of fastening of a tension roller of a poliklinovy belt the moment of 22 N · m (fig. 3.3-31).
Establish a casing of a poliklinovy belt.
Install the radiator fan with the viscous coupling.
Launch the engine and check correctness of work of a poliklinovy belt.
