11.1. General information
The system of production of the fulfilled gases consists of a final collector, a turbocompressor, a reception exhaust pipe, the central and back mufflers, catalytic converter of the fulfilled gases.
Elements of system of release are connected by threaded connections or collars.
On cars with diesel engines unregulated katalistichesky oxidizing converter is applied to decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases.
Fig. 5.3-1. Elements of a control system of increase in pressure of the air coming to the engine: 1 – to a sapun on the case of the air filter; 2 – a vacuum hose to the vacuum tank or the vacuum pump; 3 – a vacuum hose from the electromagnetic valve of elevated pressure; 4 – vacuum amplifier of brakes; 5 – vacuum tank; 6 – unilateral valve; 7 – vacuum pump; 8 – to the switch of the valve of an inlet collector N239; 9 – a vacuum hose from the N18 valve to the mechanical valve of system of recirculation of the fulfilled gases; 10 – electromagnetic valve of management of increase in pressure of N75; 11 – EGR N18 valve

Reduction of content of nitrogen oxides in the fulfilled gases of the diesel engine is reached due to installation on the car of system of recirculation of the fulfilled gases (EGR). The EGR valve (fig. 5.3-1) of system of recirculation is installed in a knee of system of release and is run by the vacuum regulator. Via the EGR valve on the heated-up engine a part of the fulfilled gases goes to engine combustion chambers therefore temperature decreases and the content of nitrogen oxides in the fulfilled gases decreases.
